Had a fantastic dining experience here with some loved ones celebrating a birthday. They made the dinner so enjoyable. Service was extremely accommodating and helpful. Delicious cocktails, the appetizers we tried all left us speechless...The steamed clams were some of the best I've had in the Charleston area. The Birthday girl chose this restaurant just for the beef carpaccio and she left with a huge smile on her face. One of the tastiest espresso martinis I've ever had!

Came here with a couple ladies for lunch. I was able to snag a parking spot on the street quickly since there is no lot, but there is a garage nearby. Pretty busy place around 12pm on a Tuesday. This is part of the "Halls" collection so it was also my first experience as well. It was casual to business casual as far as how people were dressed but the staff were in all black and gave that fine dining service feel. Peter was our server, very nice, friendly guy and attentive during service. We started with the clams, buttery, lemony and came with some bread - very tasty. I had the swordfish with risotto as my meal. Good portion, I liked the pickled carrots that came with it the most. My friends had the Milanese chicken with salad which had some pieces of watermelon that looked juicy. Overall it was a good experience, I wasn't blown away by anything in particular but I enjoyed what I had.

I went here with my mother because she wanted excellent shrimp and grits. The restaurant was bustling when we walked in for our 12:15 reservation. As a vegetarian, I prepared myself to cobble together a meal with a corn muffin, and assorted side dishes. When our server offered the off-menu vegetarian plate to me, I said yes, expecting rice and stir fried veggies (as I've received at other restaurants). But no! I received this bountiful plate stuffed with local favorites like cheesy grits and red rice, along with carefully prepared vegetables like fire roasted tomatoes, glazed eggplant, and beyond-crispy baby potatoes. I couldn't finish it all: I left the restaurant stuffed and satisfied. If the off-menu dish is that good, I think that bodes well for the actual menu. My mom loved her shrimp and grits! Highly recommend a visit. Exceptional food, reasonable prices, and great hospitality.

We have been traveling for 2 weeks in the South, and S.N.O.B. ended up to be my favorite restaurant. Everything was perfect at the restaurant: the service , the ambiance, the decor , the white linens on the tables , and of course food. I can confirm that they have the best shrimp and grits I have tried. We had a lot of food and drinks , and the bill was very affordable compared to other fancy restaurants we tried in Charleston . I highly recommend this restaurant. We stopped by for lunch , and it was a full house on Wednesday afternoon. So , the reservation is highly recommended. This is the restaurant to remember ! And come back once we travel south again.

fancy ambiance with live music which is nice. There is a bar you can sit at as you wait for your table. They give corn bread as you wait for your meal. Daniella was our server she was so great. The scallops and pork chop were amazing! The beef carpaccio is a great appetizer choice.

I popped in to this gem whilst be-bopping around in downtown Charleston and what a gem it is. We sadly did not eat, but we did have wine! Lol. They had a lovely wine list and a great ambience. I will be revisiting for sure! It's classy, dim lit, and a bit swanky. I dug this place. Our bartender was great.

4/10/24: We had an 8:30 PM reservation at S.N.O.B. However, they didn't take us until 9:00 PM. : ( . We started out with delicious corn bread. Entrees consisted of Shrimp and Grits, Grilled Chicken and Halibut. Dessert consisted of one slice of Amazing Banana Cream Pie and 6 spoons. The food was very good. The restaurant has a nice upscale decor. The one thing I didn't care for was the restroom location. There's a small surrounding partition to wait inside to enter the single restroom. However, you can look out and see the dining tables just "a little too close". Service was mostly good. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. Regarding parking, we took an Uber for the evening. Street parking can be difficult in this area.

We have two more days but this was declared a favorite of the trip already. Megan did a great job tonight helping us through dinner. She was friendly and helped keep things going while also giving us time to enjoy. The atmosphere is great, lively and fun with the live music as happy background sounds. And the tables are far enough apart that you can have a conversation. I had the beet salad which was so good! Delicious, balanced and well seasoned. I was having a hard time deciding because I loved the prep on the scallop dish but I don't care for scallops. So I made an off menu request and I'm so happy that they were able to accommodate. My meal was great! Shrimp on the scallop dish instead of scallops. The Carolina gold rice dish was so good and miso glaze was so delicious! I also had Flora's Muse, now I'm not generally a drinker but this sounded so good, pomegranate, lime that I wanted to try it. Very tasty indeed! Highly recommend! For a great meal in a great space. Can't believe that I forgot to mention one of the highlights of our visits to SNOB. The night before we had dinner we stopped in for the music and a drink. I generally order non-alcoholic, so I ordered my standard club soda with some fruit juice for flavor. Hubby had a bourbon and we listened to the musicians, watched the game and talked to some of the other patrons. The bartender noticed my glass was more than half empty and asked if he could refresh for me. No one ever does this for non-alcoholic beverages! The bar was mildly busy and I really appreciated that he noticed and Asked (ASKED) if he could refresh for me. So nice!

S.N.O.B. for short! But nothing snobby about this place as the staff was friendly and accommodating for our party of 16 set up right in front of the open kitchen. They had some interesting appetizers with a charcuterie board with different than normal items (pate salami anyone) and beef carpaccio that was swimming in capers, which is a good thing. They're probably more shareable for a smaller table, but I sat in the middle (smart, right?). For dinner, I had Shrimp and Grits, which was a great choice. You can't go to Charleston without getting it (unless you're allergic, of course) and I'm glad I did. There were plenty of shrimp over a pile of delicious grits which was swimming in a flavorful, slightly spicy sauce. I'd probably order this again if I dined here. Then it was dessert time. I ordered some chocolate thing as I was in the mood for that after having Lemon and Banana the previous 2 nights and it hit the spot. But the star was the sour cream apple pie! This pie was swimming in a delicious sweet sour cream filling that made it one of the best apple pies I ever had. I'd order that next time too! And I'll stop with the swimming references. Drinks were good but I switched to wine to go with my meal. One of the people was a wine S.N.O.B and she picked out a good Pinot Noir. I'd describe it as red! TLDR: Shrimp and Grits and Sour Cream Apple Pie.
